One thing about that guilt....it does not last long! I'm ready for the next excursion already. SO, I say, "GO AHEAD AND EAT THAT PIE AND BUY THOSE ANTIQUES!" The guilt fades, but the junk lasts. You will forget how much you paid for that pairs of smiling face tomato salt and pepper shakers, but their jerky little faces will give you happiness for a long time.
Yeah, I am ready for more. I have a renewed fire in my belly. But first I need to take all of yesterday's finds out of the back of the car.
I do that sometimes. I leave all my treasures in the back of the car for a few days (sometimes even longer--much longer). I think it is just like when I used to leave my Christmas presents under the tree for a week.
Sometimes I leave them so long, I actually forget what I bought and I am surprised when I open up the wrapped things inside the bags. How pathetic is that? "Oh, wow, I forgot I bought that...":
I know. This is a sickness. I am like those women who buy the same pairs of shoes twice, because they forgot about the first pair still in the box up on the closet shelf.
But--old junk is so much more fun, and worthy. And that is what I tell myself: worthy...worthy...worthy...
Got to unload.
Oh gosh, I do that too! I leave stuff I just bought and HAD to have in my truck until the next time someone needs the passenger seat! :-O

Janee, that is what I do. It stays in the car until I have to pack in other stuff, or people in! We really are kindred spirits!
